FIELD: magnetometry, design of devices meant for measurement of properties of samples of magnetically hard materials and permanent magnets, high-precision installations intended for test of series of samples of same type sizes. SUBSTANCE: magnetic system of permeameter includes symmetric magnetic circuit 1, two pivots 2 and 3, mobile poles 4 and 5 with pole pieces 6 and 7 and threaded surfaces 8 and 9, locating members 10 and 11. Mobile poles 4 and 5 are set up concentric with pivots 2 and 3, bases of pivots are closed by magnetic circuit 1. Each of pivots has two external conical surfaces 12, 13 and 14,15 with conicity β and a correspondingly. Pole pieces 6 and 7 have generating surfaces 16 and 17 smoothly without bending passing into surfaces forming working zone of permeameter. Poles have depressions 18 and 19 formed by hyperbolic surfaces coaxial to poles to make ring working zone of permeameter during tests.
