COMPOSITION FOR HALOGEN-SILVER PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL FIXATION Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: photographic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: composition has silver halide solvent, preserving agent, acidic reagent, water and additionally - alkylphenol polyglycide ester of the general formula (I): where: R - (non)branched C₃-C₁₂-alkyl; n = 1-13 at the following ratio of components, g-mole/l: silver halide solvent 0.80-12.0; preserving agent 0.05-1.12; alkylphenol polyglycide ester (10^-5)-(10^-2); acidic reagent, to pH = 3.5-6.9, and water - up to 1 l. Also, composition can contain additionally functional additions, for example, tanning agent, accelerating agent. Addition of alkylphenol polyglycide ester to composition ensures to decrease fixation time by 1.5-2.0-fold, image density fall up to 5%, gradation properties fall up to 10%.
