FIELD: lead acid cells and batteries. SUBSTANCE: lead-in arrangement of lead electrode in battery case lid 4 has union nut 6 turned onto stem 1 of lead electrode at height of cell lid and elongation with recess (6II) on lower end to accommodate round-section sealing ring 3 and to press ring to axial step (II) of electrode stem. Recess adjoins round-section sealing ring over pressure surface (6III) which is tilted at preset angle relative to axial direction. This surface provides also pressing of round section sealing ring to electrode stem in radial direction. Union nut is sealed by other ring seal 5 in radial direction relative to axis of sealing surface of flange (4III) of cell lid. Flange on its outer side forms sealing surface passing along axis for sealing edge 8 of cap 7 movable relative to flange in axial direction. EFFECT: improved sealing of battery. 7 cl, 2 dwg
