FIELD: individual protecting devices. SUBSTANCE: fastener has two cross bar locks 1 positioned on inner suspension 22 of helmet 23. Two cross bars 9 are rigidly connected with mask 29 through intermediate hanging brackets formed as triangular plates 17 having oval-shaped apexes with bores and narrow saw-cut made in the middle part to divide plate 17 into two lugs with one and two openings. Lug with one opening is bent at right angle relative to saw-cut and to second lug. Cross bar 9 is attached on one opening of second lug. First lug is fixed on mask 29. Cross bars 9 may be pivoted relative to mask 29 to sides, inward, upward and downward. When inserted into locks 1, cross bars 9 retain mask 29 in predetermined position relative to User's face due to their rigidity. At the same time cross bars do not prevent mask from being turned while following face profile. Fastener allows smoke screening mask to be put on without removing helmet from User's face. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 9 dwg
