FIELD: manufacture of aircraft; construction of cowls of power plants of aircraft engines. SUBSTANCE: engine cowl has doors fastened to suspension units made in form of two plates longitudinal slots and transversal notches and bolt fastener; they form members adjustable in length with hinges for securing the doors fitted at the ends. Unit for securing the plates to base is adjustable in vertical plane and is made in form of ear-fork joint. Side surface of fork 14 are provided with notch which is parallel to axis of member adjustable in length and is engageable with mating notches of washers. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 4 dwg
