FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves heating metal in pouring device to pouring temperature; holding for prolonged time at pouring temperature and pouring into molds. Method is characterized in that all metal mass is kept in pouring device at temperature 3-15 C below pouring temperature; at least one portion of metal is withdrawn and heated during intermediate pouring processes by independent heat source to pouring temperature and is poured into casting mold. It allows power consumption to be reduced by 15-20%. EFFECT: reduced loss of main and valuable alloying members, prolonged service life of pouring device linings and improved quality of cast products.
