DEVICE FOR STRAIGHTENING SELVAGE OF MOVING ROLL MATERIAL Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: textile industry; straightening selvage of moving roll material at laying fabric for cutting by pattern, sorting and reeling on. SUBSTANCE: straightening rolls are made stationary relative to their axles, have polished working surface and are mounted on two parallel equal-arm telescopic levers. Levers are installed coaxially on carriage for turning in plane parallel to direction of movement of roll material. Levers are mechanically coupled with carriage through springs by means of connecting rods and stops. Levers are driven by cams installed at equal distance from axis of rotation of carriage at one of its sides in direction of material movement. Drive of carriage in made in form of self-braking reversible electric motor with screw type transmission and slider, all mounted on platform which is installed for clockwise-counterclockwise motion. EFFECT: facilitated straightening of roll material selvage. 4 dwg
