FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns safety in mining industry and my be used in mines when insulating worked out space from working mine tunnels. Invention consists in that composition containing cement, liquid glass, filler, and water is supplemented with blowing agent and, as filler, floatation ash from heat power stations is utilized so that component contents (in wt %) are as follows: cement, 15-25; liquid glass, 0.5- 2.0; floatation ash, 40-45; blowing agent, 0.5-2.0; and water, the balance. Composition is prepared by way of mechanical mixing of components. Floatation ash is mixed with cement, and liquid glass with water admixing blowing agent. The latter mix is then added to ash-cement mix and resultant composition is agitated. The mortar so obtained is poured in into falsework on place where barricade should be erected. Insulation barricades made of composition of invention may be used in zones with transitional rock pressure because composition provides 1.7-2-fold reduction in air permeability and is completely incombustible. Owing to plastic properties of material, its service life is 2-3 times increased. EFFECT: increased safety.
