FIELD: water treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treating water in hot water-supply systems. Method consists in degasifying liquids by way of desorbing gases owing to difference in their partial pressures and increase in phase interface area upon exposing liquid to cavitation mechanical action. Desorption is performed in liquid bulk having natural free surface, so cavitation mechanical action suffers only layer of liquid next to that surface. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of degasification.
