COMPOSITION FOR PRODUCTION OF FIREPROOF MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR ITS PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: production of fireproof materials. SUBSTANCE: composition comprises, %: silicium-phosphate binder (its density being 1.52 g/cm³), 51.3-78.6; hardening agent, 0.8-5.1; frothing agent, 3.9-10.3; and filler. Binder is manufactured on the base of liquid glass and is modified with the help of tripolyphosphate of alkaline metal. Said frothing agent is manufactured on the base of sodium salts of alkyl aromatic sulfoacids of kerosene distillate. Composition is prepared by mixing binder with frothing agent, filler being added into thus obtained froth. Hardening agent is separately fed into thus prepared mixture. Hardening time is 2-10 h, compressive strength of desired composition is 0.8-1.0 MPa, fireproofness of desired composition is 90 h if thickness of coating is 10 mm.
