FIELD: ironmongery, particular, locking devices for door locking in rooms. SUBSTANCE: locking device has body, mortise mechanism with spring-loaded guide installed on its body, mechanism for moving mortise mechanism installed on the shaft of the turning handle and having protruding part for interaction with recess made in body of mortise mechanism. Mechanism moving the mortise mechanism is made in form of carrier-coupling mechanism having disk rigidly connected with handle shaft and having hollows uniformly spaced on its periphery and located between two plates installed on disk hubs and secured to each other by means of distance sleeves installed for rotation relative to the plates. Mechanism also includes protruding part made in form of carrier rigidly connected with plates and kinematically connected with disk by means of spring-loaded ball installed in carrier recess combined with disk hollow. Secured to body are two limiting pins which prevent turning of plates with carrier in the extreme extended and extreme withdrawn positions of mortise mechanism and also spring-loaded lever with interlocking arm engageable with one of distance sleeves and driven arm engageable with driving mechanism.
