FIELD: remote control. SUBSTANCE: method provides possibility to measure rapidly varying characteristics such as vibration when validity of a priori estimation of range of measured values is low and transmission capacity of channels is limited. Method takes into account specific features of processing of measured data including integral characteristics. It involves redundant initial sampling of signals by level in order to provide wide measuring range, detection of minimal and maximal values in interval for conversion. Transform is described by equation , where Uij-out (Uij) is current value of j-th measurement of i-th parameter before (after) transform; Uimin (Uimax) is minimal (maximal) value of measurement from i-th detector during interval of transform; Kt is number of sampling levels of transformed measurement. Then current transformed values of measurement with decreased bit-length are output together with extreme values for given interval with initial bit-length.
