SUBSTANCE: process for preparing catalysts comprises mixing original components such as vanadyl sulfate, tungsten oxide, titanium oxide, clay and reinforcing fibers, treating catalyst with aqueous solutions of fatty acids and multihydric alcohols at volumetric amounts of catalyst blends and aqueous solution ranging from 7:1 to 10:1, forming catalyst units by extrusion method, drying the raw units at 60 C and air pressure of 0.2-0.6 Bar and heat treating said units at 400-600 C.
