METHOD OF DECORATING PIECES MANUFACTURE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: decorating art, method is used to manufacture decorating pieces of polyurethane foam (porolon). SUBSTANCE: method provides for pattern application on porolon, cutting piece contour out and in series cutting of material upper layer according to pattern. Volume surfaces are formed by many times cutting out of material acute corners and planes with decrease of cut-out lumps till volumetric form is produced with following levelling (grinding) of produced surface by cutting irregularities off. In the case, scissors in process of grinding are not separated from porolon surface. As pigment they use oil colors thinned till concentration in limits from thin milk cream to medium density sour cream. Printing is exercised just on surface and for 1 - 3 mm depth. Piece is dried for 3 - 5 days. Pieces are produced colorful, bright, fluffy with volumetric effect. The decorating pieces are used for decoration of premises interior - especially of any children enterprises, for decoration of celebrations halls it is possible to produce big assembling pictures: new year, autumn, spring, big volumetric dolls, personages of fairy-tales etc. EFFECT: improved process. 4 dwg
