FIELD: controlled pattern cutting systems and methods of its control. SUBSTANCE: the offered pattern cutting system has current intensity pickup in motor of cutting member included in unit 32 of determination of deviation of the actual force of cutting member from anticipated force on the preset section. Coding devices 37 and 42 in motors for determination of the position of cutting member, at least, one trajectory, are connected with processor unit 15 which is also connected with current intensity pickup 32, programmed controller 16. Processor unit has unit for determination of the value of resistance of cut material 4. Motors of axes X,Y,C(12,13,18) are driven by control current to move the knife at a speed preset by configuration file. Speed of feed is calculated for contour with consideration of information relating to the resistance of material subject to cutting, data on knife sharpness, level of material density, current intensity of knife motor and knife speed.
