WIDE-WORKING TILLING UNIT Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural implements. SUBSTANCE: unit is intended for surface cultivation of soil. It has hitch 1 with frame 3 provided with wheels 4 in its rear part, and lateral beam 5 mounted on frame and connected to which by means of universal joints 8, 9 are side-located lateral beams 10, 11 having supporting and ground wheels 13, 14 connected to frame 3 by their free ends by means of braces 12. Also provided are modules 2 having frame 16 which carries working members 17. Each module 2 is connected to lateral bar 5 of hitch by means of lower frame 21 pivotally mounted on it and upper lever 22 and load-carrying member which are made so as to permit displacement of module 2 and location of cutting edge of working members 17 above or on same height with axis of lateral beam 5. Rear mounting link of module 2 is made as screw mechanism. Free ends of side-located lateral beams 10, 11 for transport position of tilling unit are connected to each other by removable telescopic link. EFFECT: high efficiency. 6 dwg
