SPRING WHEAT GROWING METHOD Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, growing of soft spring wheat seeds. SUBSTANCE: method involves sowing wheat seeds together with lupine, with wheat and lupine seed ratio ranging from 1.2:2.0 to 0.6:1.0. Only phosphorous and alkaline fertilizers taken in an amount of 60% by weight are used as mineral fertilizers. Method allows protein content in seeds of soft spring wheat to be increased by 3.0-3.4% and reach 15.5-16.3% without introduction of mineral fertilizers and quality of grain to satisfy standard requirements for production of average baking capacity flour. High quality bread is produced from such flour without adding flour of durum wheats improving baking capacity of flour.
