FIELD: electrothermics. SUBSTANCE: electrical and process parameters of operating furnace are maintained by introducing adjustments into reductant doses with due consideration for relationship existing between P2O5 content in slag and electrical parameters. Proposed method also takes into account errors in metering-out other components, i.e. phosphorite and quartzite, and eliminates effect of transition process taking place along "feedstock-slag" path. EFFECT: method offers greater flexibility in controlling phosphorus production process. 1 tbl, 1 dwg
