FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus comprises first cardiac activity control unit made in form of in-series connected pulse signal sensor, cardiac pulses shaper and measuring element. Inventive novelty of proposed apparatus resides in that it further comprises n-1 cardiac activity control units structurally identical to first one, and alarm signal reception unit, all units being acoustically interconnected. Measuring element of each control unit comprises strobe generator, four invertors, three decoders, assembly for detecting critical conditions, two pulse generators, two AND NOT elements, OR element, two key elements, two indicators and acoustic radiator, while alarm signal reception unit includes sound sensitive element, active filter, amplifier, peak detector, frequency divider, two integrators, subtraction unit, trigger, two key elements, RESET pushbutton, indicator and output unit. Proposed apparatus can be used both under clinical and ambulance conditions. Apparatus is applicable to large group of patients, both reclining and ambulant ones, who can be controlled simultaneously. Finally, apparatus enables sick persons to effect self-control.
