FIELD: catalysts in petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: catalyst is composed, wt.-%: zeolite, 20-80; hydrogenating components, 18-75; and graphite, 2-5. Granulation of catalyst is effected without binding material by way of pelletization of dry catalyst mass on pelletizing machine. Testing of catalyst has shown its considerable advantage in activity and selectivity, while higher yield of desired fraction and its lower solidification temperature have been achieved. Simultaneously, aromatic and sulfur-containing compounds are hydrogenated to higher extent. Product obtained meets requirements to be used as basis for transformer oil. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of catalyst.
