FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: precast pile has a solid reinforced concrete trunk with an expanding lower part and a V-shaped member placed inside it. V-shaped member is dipped in soil, the pile trunk is lowered onto the edge of V-shaped member up to their complete engagement; the retention pins, welded to an insertion piece located in the upper part of the edge of V-shaped member, enter tubes of pile trunk. Then the pile is driven in by hammer apparatus in a usual way. After failure is obtained, pile position relative to ground level is fixed, and the distance, showing depth the pile head is to be additionally driven in, is laid off from it. Due to increase of impact load, lateral nets will not withstand stress concentration, which will cause their breakage. It will result in immediate crack formation in vertical and horizontal grooves. Due to the provision of lateral nets and stirrups, cracks will develop within grooves only. Under the action of load trunk lower part will extend forming two blades tending to transition from vertical position to horizontal one. EFFECT: enhanced bearing capacity of piles without complication of manufacturing methods. 3 dwg
