FIELD: electrical engineering; miscellaneous lighting fixtures including decorative ones. SUBSTANCE: lamp holder has contact system wherein flat metal contacts are secured on external surface of stepped bushing by means of hold-down ring. Body and bottom are of simple configuration easily interconnected. Contact system bushing and bottom have through holes and slots made on flanges of these parts for natural cooling of lamp holder and, hence, active cooling of contacting areas. Cooling is enhanced also by slits provided in bushing bore receiving the lamp. Reliable cooling is most essential for decorative lighting fixtures, such as candle simulators where body often darkens due to overheating when it is made of plastic which impairs its appearance. EFFECT: simplified design due to dispensing with screw joints, facilitated manufacture, reduced labour consumption, improved cooling conditions and, hence, improved reliability and safety in operation. 3 cl, 7 dwg
