FIELD: supply systems of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine carburetor contains cylindrical mixing chamber 1 where diffuser 2, air and throttle valves 3 and 4 are located. Air and throttle chokes 3 and 4 are connected with jet 6 having float chamber 7 by means of atomizer 5. Mixing chamber 1 is rigidly and coaxially connected with additional cylindrical chamber 11 having detachable end wall 12 where atomizing orifices 13 are made. Multilayer swirler is coaxially mounted in spaced relation inside additional cylindrical chamber 11. Multilayer swirler is made in form of thin-walled cylindrical bushes 14 mounted coaxially and provided with multistart square thread on their outer surfaces for forming many extended swirling passages 15 for flow of combustible mixture, obtaining larger fuel evaporating surface, setting the rotary motion and atomizing the combustible mixture. Besides that, detachable end wall 12 may be cone-shaped with vertex located inside additional chamber; relationship of total area of cross section of atomizing orifices 13 to area of cross section of mixing chamber 1 ranges from 0.5 to 0.7. Atomizing orifices are directed at angle equal to 20-80 deg relative to longitudinal axis of additional chamber extending beyond its end wall. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 cl, 3 dwg
