FIELD: manufacture of elevators. SUBSTANCE: primary 20 of linear induction motor is secured to elevator car and its secondary 22 is mounted on panel supporting door 2. Specified distance between primary and secondary of motor as well as between motor secondary and remaining part of door 2 is maintained due to resilient joint in the form of hinge 24. Displacement of door 2 in the course of its movement does not produce any deviation from normal position of linear motor primary 20 and secondary 22 relative to each other.
