FIELD: railway construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: rail fastening clamp is made of bar and has loop-shape middle part, free ends, and intermediate sections. Working planes of free ends are located beyond space formed by surface passing through concave contours of clamp middle part and made at side of convex contours of middle part, and free ends are located at distance between them which is determined by difference in length of limiter at rail foot and value equal to 0.05-0.9 of maximal cross-sectional dimension of bar.
