FIELD: industry and railway transport; drying of loose materials, mainly sand in rotating drum. SUBSTANCE: automatic control unit for direct-flow drying drum intended for drying wet sand has correcting unit coupled with wet material consumption regulator and drying agent temperature pickup installed inside drying compartment. Unit has row material consumption regulator made in form of plate feeder installed for discrete step regulation of time of rotation at change in temperature of drying agent in form of outgoing gases. Correcting unit is made stepped, with time delay relays installed, respectively, at each step and coupled with corresponding control relays. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 dwg
