FIELD: space engineering; solar batteries for direct conversion of solar energy into electric energy by means of semiconductor photoconverters used for power supply of space vehicles. SUBSTANCE: lifting surface consists of cells 6 formed by inter-module partitions 4 connected with framework 1 at the ends and with strings 3 in between partitions; strings 3 are passed through inter-module partition 4 and each section of string between partitions is connected with layer of dielectric material on rear side of modules of photoconverters. Besides that, inter-module partition are made in form of T-shaped profiles. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of solar battery, enhanced reliability and simplified construction. 2 cl, 2 dwg
