FIELD: building industry, ceramics. SUBSTANCE: charge has the following components, wt.-%: sodium sulfate decahydrate 1.0-3.0; lime 1.0-2.0, and silica - the rest. Charge can contain sulfate waste from vitamin plant production instead sodium sulfate at the following components, wt.-%: sulfate waste 3.0-4.46 (as measured for dry matter); lime 1.0-3.8, and silica - the rest. Properties: roasting temperature is 1000-1100 C, mean density is 1850-1910 kg/m3, water absorption is 13.9-16.5%, compression limit strength is 21-50 MPa, water-resistance is 0.92-0.98.
