FIELD: V-belt drives, variable-speed drives. SUBSTANCE: V-belt includes elastomer body and load-bearing layer of multi-layer ring coiled spirally from band with lubricant between turns and bent-aside ends. Bent-aside ends of extreme turns are moulded in elastomer body. Besides that, edges of multi-layer ring are rounded-off. Bent-aside ends of extreme turns may be rounded-off or perforated or may be brought out of elastomer body flush with its outer and inner surfaces. Inner turns of multi-layer ring may be perforated.
