UNIVERSAL MAGNETIC FLAW DETECTOR Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2086972 C1

FIELD: non- destructive flaw detection. SUBSTANCE: device has drum which is mounted for rotation, magnetic tape feeding mechanism, serial circuit of reading unit, which is located on drum, amplifier and information displaying unit, which has cathode-ray tube and sweep oscillator. Reading unit has two linear response detectors which are sensitive to different constituents of tape field and are mounted for movement along tape direction. Amplifier has two independent channels. Information displaying unit has signal commutator. Outputs of detectors are connected to respective inputs of signal commutator through independent amplification channels. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 1 dwg
