FIELD: optical instruments, in particular, scanners of TV and heat vision equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing of separate mirror prisms, mounting them on flat base surface which is perpendicular to scanner rotation axis, moving them to stop towards flat front faces of rest which is shaped as polyhedron which is mounted on rotation axis, and fixing prisms on base surface with side spaces between them. When prisms are mounted, flatness of mirror surfaces which are sensitive to force of tightening instrument is controlled. EFFECT: simplified manufacturing. 4 cl, 2 dwg
