FIELD: machine-tool industry; NC-machine tools for multi-tool finishing treatment of parts of precision instrumentation engineering, for example, film-movement mechanism in video tape recorders, gyroscopes, mounts and housing of optical devices. SUBSTANCE: lathe includes slide compound rest 3 with tools located on it rest is movable in two mutually perpendicular directions; lathe includes also spindle head 2 for angular positioning of spindle 6, angular position feedback sensor 16 connected with spindle by means of flat-toothed belt drive at ratio of 1:1. Number of teeth of drive belt is multiple of number of teeth of pulley. Beginning of reading of angular position of spindle is determined by contactless inductance sensor 20 generating single pulse per revolution of additional shaft 18 kinematically linked with axle of feedback sensor 16 by means of gear train. Ratio is equal to ratio of number of teeth of belt and pulley. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
