FIELD: mechanical engineering; centering of profiled bodies of revolution and machining of their outer surfaces. SUBSTANCE: device has housing with L-shaped levers 5 smoothly mounted in its grooves over circumference and centrally located rod 1 whose threaded end is provided with nut. Ends of smaller L- shaped levers are located at angle relative to axis of device. Part 9 to be centered is placed on one or two L-shaped levers by its inner surface and is fixed on rod by means of spring rings 8. Levers are engageable with rod by their top portions. In such state, part is pressed at end moving axially. L-shaped levers turn relative to top and reliably secured the part. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 6 dwg
