FIELD: textile engineering. SUBSTANCE: fiber and filament detector has amplifier, dynamic filament surveyor and integrating circuit capacitor. In case filament is broken, detector capacity is changed in reverse order and positive polarity pulse is generated at amplifier output. In this case dynamic filament surveyor is in off state and charging of integrating circuit capacitor is initiated. When voltage reaches threshold value, recorder delivers signal corresponding to state indicative of absence of filament. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 8 dwg
