FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this is used in geophysical investigations of wells. Device has frame 1 made in the form of tubular holder 2 provided with clamps 3 for down-hole instruments 4 and shock absorbers 5 of mounting power unit 7. Mounted on drive motor 25 of unit 7 is distribution box 25 with generator, hydraulic pump 27 of compressor unit and variable-capacity pump driven by stepping motor controlled by system 9. Drive unit 18 of drum 16 consists of hydraulic motor with reducer connected with drum 16. Reducer is provided with normally engaged braking system controlled from pneumatic control valve. Mounted on bearing unit 17 is piston pump hydraulically connected through two-position control valve with cable layer 19 which is made in the form of double-rod cylinder and lever 20 with carriage 22 having metering roller connected with sensor of lowering depth and travel speed. Also provided are cable tension sensor, and drying and cleaning control unit 23 having body with air inlet, calibrating washer, compression spring and limit switch connected through control system 9 with bypass control valve, pneumatic control valve and stepping motor. Application of this device makes unnecessary use of any other equipment for overall geophysical investigations irrespective of well head equipment and climatic conditions.
