SUBSTANCE: method involves providing perforated receptacle penetratable by larvae, with thickness of manure layer placed within receptacle being equal to depth of penetration of larvae into substrate; arranging receptacle in horizontal position during growing period and supplying air flow along receptacle wall; moving perforated receptacle to vertical position, when larvae are to be separated from substrate, and stopping supplying of air flow.
