FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: camphor is isolated from camphor oil as camphor oxime by treatment with hydroxylamine hydrochloride at mass ratio camphor : ethanol = 1:2, at 5 C, not above, and by addition of potassium hydroxide solution. The remained sesquiterpene hydrocarbons were separated as mixture by solution boiling. EFFECT: improved method of separation. 4 tbl
