FIELD: materials handling. SUBSTANCE: method includes placing of load coaxially with compartment and subsequently moving the load into freight compartment, butt-joining end faces of load and compartment and mounting cover onto input end face of compartment. To arranged load coaxially with compartment, load is suspended by rigging from two bridge cranes, and movement of load into compartment is provided by first fitting the ends of load into compartment using the cranes and then, using two pairs of braces to be secured on rigging at this end of the load. After disconnection of wire rope of one f cranes from rigging, each pair of braces is secured on pairs of ring bolts installed in upper part of freight compartment in longitudinal direction, and load is moved inside compartment to provide possibility of cross attachment of each of braces to following pair of ring bolts after disconnection of braces from preceding pair of ring bolts.
