SUBSTANCE: present invention describes azo dyes, more particularly heterocyclic N- oxide azo compounds which have wide color range and are resistant to physical and chemical effects, chemical structure of azo dye promotes proton formation and hydration of molecule of compound and high adhesion of dye to amphoteric fiber. 1-(4'-pyridyl-N-oxid) azo-4- naphtol is synthetic dye for wool and polyamide fiber.
