FIELD: mechanical engineering; torque transmitting devices for vehicles. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal clutch has first clutch member with hermetically sealed filled with working fluid, second clutch member installed coaxially with first clutch member, eccentrics installed in first clutch member for rotation. Bell cranks are hinge-secured on first clutch member to provide engagement of one of its arms with corresponding eccentric. Other arms of bell cranks play part of flyweights. Centrifugal clutch has hydraulic damping unit with partitions installed in periphery portion of hermetically sealed space with clearance relative to flyweights, and planetary gear train. Carrier of planetary gear train, with fitted on planet pinions, is rigidly coupled with second clutch member. Inner central wheel is rigidly coupled with eccentrics. Grooves are made on at least one of end face walls limiting the space of first clutch member mainly on sections of walls coinciding with zone of arrangement and possible travel of flyweights. Flyweights are connected by flexible tie either with partitions or with peripheral sections of walls limiting the space of first clutch member. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities and improved reliability. 8 cl, 5 dwg
