FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: vibrodynamic head has housing with deforming member positioned in cylindrical opening, pin support, spring and variable profile cam. Compensator formed as cylindrical rod is positioned between cam and spring. Vibrodynamic head may be used in metal- working machines to form repeated microrelief on surfaces of part openings. Construction of head allows position of deforming balls relative to surfaces under process to be regulated and, as a result, force applied to surfaces under process to be adjusted.
