FIELD: production of chrome yellow used as decorative filler in paint and varnish industry, polymer industry, among them, polymer composites for radiation shield. SUBSTANCE: method involves precipitation of lead chromate which takes place of solutions comprising corresponding ions. The process is followed by treatment with sodium ethylsiliconate (its quantity is 3-5 mass %) as its aqueous solution and by drying thus prepared product at 170-180 C.
