FIELD: equipment for placing groups of processed items of the same shape and size, for example, cans (preserve cans) into boxes. SUBSTANCE: device has rotor secured on horizontal shaft and provided with radial grips, feeder for items, support for containers and drive. Each grip is secured on axle disposed in parallel to the rotor shaft. Fastened to one end of the axle is link articulated with crank, which is engaged with guide rigidly mounted on one end of additional shaft pivoted with bearing support situated inside the rotor. Mounted on the other end of the shaft is limiter engageable with brake disk, and pinion engageable with toothed sector. The brake disk is secured on the rotor shaft support and the toothed sector is mounted on the disk. When in working position, the crank, axle and link are in one plane, which passes through the geometrical axis of the rotor shaft. To provide for rotation of the grip through an angle of 360 deg. the length of the link should be more than the distance between the additional shaft and respective axle. The feeder includes accumulator, shaper and agitator of cans. The accumulator is made in the form of table with polished flat working surface tilted to the shaper. The shaper is made in the form of fork with its base joined with the accumulator. Each pair of adjacent fingers of the fork makes up guide channel for cans. The agitator consists of two parallel rectangular cross-section bars placed along the side edges of the accumulator. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 2 cl, 8 dwg
