FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to determination of mass of articles transported in pneumatic containers. Air cushion is formed under transported article, vibrations of article are caused by short-time pressure pulse. Value of mass of article is found by results of measurement series with subsequent averaging by taking measurements of pressure in air cushion and accelerations of movement of article when velocity of article is equal to zero.
