FIELD: measuring equipment, analytical instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: capillary hydrometer uses a reference crystal vibrator connected to a reference frequency generator, measuring crystal vibrator connected to a measuring frequency generator and containing a hydrosensitive element made of piezomaterial with a set of capillaries. The generators are connected to a mixer with a frequency meter connected to its output. The hydrosensitive element is made in the form of a cellular structure with conical capillaries, whose base diameter is within 2 to 5 mcm, and the depth is at least a half of the capillary base diameter.
