FIELD: medical engineering; prosthetics. SUBSTANCE: segment of biological object is placed in formation material prior to its strengthening, during strengthening and after it by exposing it to magnetic field and immersing to required depth. Segment is immersed in strengthened formation material when its strength and rigidness change by varying magnetic field induction in compliance with segment pressure of formation material. Prior to segment immersion in formation material, hollow is made in the latter whose configuration and size approach those of segment. EFFECT: reduced labour intensity of negative manufacturing process, improved quality of model surface. 5 cl, 1 dwg
