METHOD FOR TREATING AGGRAVATED CHRONIC PERIODONTITIS CASES Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: medicine; therapeutic stomatology. SUBSTANCE: patient's tooth canal is subjected to mechanical treatment, followed by introducing into canal thus-treated "Profesim" which is fermentative preparation of immobilized proteases and has therapeutic activity 2-4 units. Preparation is administered for 1-3 days daily, whereupon tooth canal is subjected to antiseptic treatment and filling. EFFECT: proposed method makes it possible to shorten treatment duration to 1-3 days; it is simple to practise and does not require any extra equipment; it provides no allergic reactions. 1 tbl
