FIELD: preparation of catalysts. SUBSTANCE: zeolite of invention has molar composition defined by formula 100 XO2: ≅ 10 Y2O3: ≅ 20R2/n° where R is one or a few cations with valence n; X silicon and/or germanium; Y one or a few elements selected from the group: aluminium, Al, Fe, Ga, B, Ti, Va, Zr, Mo, As, Sn, Cr, and Mn. Zeolite is characterized with X-ray diffraction pattern including line presented in Table 1 given in description and is prepared from reaction mixture consisting of XO2 (advantageously silicon dioxide), Y2O3 (advantageously alumina), and polymethylene-α, ω-diammonium cation. Zeolite thus prepared is fit as catalyst for variety of reactions. EFFECT: catalyst with new characteristics provided. 8 cl, 8 dwg, 8 tbl
