FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: phase control device for rectifier cell connected in series with load between ac supply mains leads has phase control unit and is characterized in that it is provided, in addition, with one more controlled rectifier cell, capacitor, controlled switch, and rectifier cell control unit; rectifier cell power leads are connected to series circuit set up of capacitor and additional controlled rectifier cell whose control input is connected to output of phase control unit whose input leads are connected to supply mains leads; control input of rectifier cell is connected to output of control unit whose input is connected to controlled switch meant to trigger device by external signal; rectifier cell control unit functions to open rectifier cell after supply voltage has crossed zero; phase control unit functions to open additional rectifier cell upon opening of main rectifier cell.
