SPORTS BOAT Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: shipbuilding; pleasure craft to be transported on car top. SUBSTANCE: boat hull has inner cockpit closed with awning at the top having transparent ports and zipper on rear canopy secured on articulated bows. Under-side spaced filled with foam plastic are provided with lockers for stores and drugs. Inflatable mats, life jackets, blankets and side ladder are stowed in fore compartment. Access hole is closed with cover used as table near which detachable bench is hinged. This bench is used as head rest on bottom planking. Double deadrise bottom changes to plane towards break of transom provided with motor plate. Boat is provided with sail rigging and oar-propeller having blade made in form of semibalanced rudder blade. To facilitate removal of boat from car and placing it on ground, it is provided with cords-shock absorbers and guide cover plates on edges of frame-trunk. Boat is provided with swivel locks fitted on its sides. These locks are used for stowage of boat in suspended state.
